    Valiant announced today that is has been awarded a $73.3M contract by the U.S. Army to provide Operations Support Services for the Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC). Valiant Integrated Services Awarded $73.3M Contract to Support the Korean Battle Simulation Center for the U.S. Army 31 Mar 2025 HERNDON, Va., March 31, 2025 – Valiant announced today that is has been awarded a $73.3M contract by the U.S. Army to provide Operations Support Services for the Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC). Peter Capwell, Valiant’s Chief Operating Officer, says “We are very excited to have an opportunity to deliver operations support to KBSC that delivers cost-effective combined, bilateral, and joint warfighting readiness training for Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, Eighth U.S. Army, INDOPACOM, U.S. Army Pacific, and U.S. Army Japan. Valiant’s experience working in the unique KBSC environment allows us to continue to deliver professional, critical training for U.S. and allied forces in the region.” The KBSC operations support services are provided to the Combined Forces Command/U.S. Forces Korea, U.S. Army Pacific, U.S. Army Japan, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, and international partners. The contract supports collective and leader battle staff training for joint/combined exercises from the battalion through theater level. In the 5-year contract, Valiant provides functional, technical, and operational services—including planning, coordinating, and executing computer-assisted exercises. Valiant’s KBSC team is experienced in warfighting doctrine, training methodologies, and data analysis while being proficient in model, model federation, and networks—all needed to support the dynamic KBSC mission.     Chief Growth Officer < Back MIKE BRENNAN Chief Growth Officer Mike Brennan serves as Chief Growth Officer at Valiant. Since joining Valiant in 2019, Mike has transformed the function from an operations-led other-duty-as-assigned to a professional business development organization. He leads a team that pursues work across the company’s Mission Solutions and Training and Readiness verticals, conducting work in over 40 countries and supporting the mission of more than 20 customers. In addition to his primary role at Valiant, Mike has supported multiple asset purchases and acquisitions to further increase the company’s capabilities and addressable market. Before joining Valiant, Mike served in operations and business development roles at AECOM. He started at AECOM as the Strategic Team Director for an atmospheric information collection program in Southern Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn. Mike led 11 teams in nine locations, providing real-time situational awareness to conventional and unconventional military units conducting foreign internal defense and counterinsurgency operations. Mike received the Commander’s Public Service Medal from the division commanding general for his exemplary service. Mike later served as Vice President of Major Captures, where he was responsible for capturing high-priority bids with significant strategic importance, including leading teams from across the corporation to pursue large infrastructure design, build, and operate opportunities for foreign governments. Before joining AECOM, Mike served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. He held multiple leadership positions and led Marines deployed on the 31st and 11th Marine Expeditionary Units. While assigned to the Security Cooperation Education and Training Center, Mike was an advisor to Royal Saudi Marine and Naval Special Operations units. Mike holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from the United States Naval Academy. In addition, he has received language training from DLI and Middlebury College and is a graduate of the DISCS Security Cooperation Management Course. Mike lives in Maryland with his wife Karen and son Jack.

    Lieutenant General Terry R. Ferrell Training Advisory Board Terry R. Ferrell (born 1962) is a retired lieutenant general (LTG) in the United States Army with 37 years of service, who last served as the commanding general of United States Army Central from March 8, 2019, to August 4, 2021. A native of Logan, West Virginia, Lieutenant General Terry Ferrell was commissioned in 1984 as an Armor Officer upon graduating from Marshall University. His assignments include multiple joint and operational tours, and staff assignments at numerous levels, as well as several commands. Highlights include commanding 3d Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized) based in Fort Stewart, Georgia, and deployed in support of Operation JOINT FORGE and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. He then commanded 2d Brigade, 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized), and deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Following Brigade Command, Lieutenant General Ferrell assumed duties as Chief of Staff, 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized) in Fort Stewart, Georgia. After his tour as Division Chief of Staff, he assumed duties as Assistant Division Commander (Support) and later Assistant Division Commander (Maneuver), 2d Infantry Division in the Republic of Korea. Following his return to the United States, Lieutenant General Ferrell served as Commanding General, National Training Center at Fort Irwin and then commanded Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), Djibouti, in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Most recently, he served as the Commanding General, 7th Infantry Division in Joint Base Lewis-McChord. LTG Ferrell's military education includes completion of the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, Combined Services Staff School, Command and General Staff College, and the United States Army War College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling and Rehabilitation from Marshall University, a Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.
