Our suppliers must respect the rights of all human beings and work to ensure their supply chains are not subject to human trafficking, slavery, indentured servitude, child labor, or other illegal or unethical labor conditions. Prior to entering into a business relationship with a third-party entity or individual, Valiant conducts reasonable due diligence including use of third party screening tools. For any business operating in a higher risk environment, additional diligence using the above solutions will be conducted tailored to the identified risk. Training Each Valiant employee is required to take the annual Code of Business Ethics and Conduct training, which covers human trafficking and related concerns. Valiant regularly communicates with employees on a variety of legal, ethics, and compliance issues, including slavery and human trafficking regarding resources, as well as the resources to ask questions or report concerns. Since joining GSF, Larry has played several significant roles in growing the company’s Food Processing business. After nearly four successful years in Egypt, he came to the states to act as Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for the Liquid Products Group at the GSF facility in City of Industry, California. He was later promoted to Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing in 2002. In October of 2005, he moved to Conyers, Georgia, to serve as Chief Operating Officer and orchestrated a series of optimization efforts for GSF’s Liquid Products and Meat Products businesses. Larry was promoted to President, Food Processing Groups, at GSF in March 2010. Larry oversaw the Liquid Products division at GSF’s City of Industry facility, GSF’s Liquid Products facility in Conyers, GSF’s Conyers Meat Products Group and GSF’s International Groups in Egypt, China, Australia and New Zealand in 2013. Under Larry’s leadership, GSF has been honored with numerous customer awards and recognitions including: Supplier of the year awards for Yum! Brands, Zaxby’s, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, along with multiple quality, teamwork and target awards for McDonald’s. Larry is currently the CEO of KanPak, a Golden State Foods Company, where the company is growing and thriving. KanPak has facilities in China, two plants in the United States, and a dispenser division in Connecticut. He is a Senior Fellow of the Syracuse University, Maxwell School of Government, National Security Studies Program, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from the New England School of Law-Boston. Brooks is currently on the Board of Directors of the District of Columbia College Access Program and America’s Public Television Stations, as well as the Chairman of the Awards Committee on the Advisory Board of the Association of the U.S. Army and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Brooks has received numerous awards, notably the Army’s Distinguished Service Medal in 2006, the Freedom Team Salute Award for outstanding service to the nation by the Secretary of the Army in 2007, the Black Engineer of the Year 2009 Military Leadership Stars & Stripes Award, later being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014, and the Black Engineer of the Year 2019 BEYA Career Achievement in Industry Award.

More recently, GCC has concentrated its efforts on investments in the government contracting space. Previously, Mr. Dignam served as President and CEO of PAE, an Arlington, VA-based services and logistics company, where he developed and executed a growth strategy that tripled the business, creating a $2 billion global mission services company with more than 15,000 employees in over 60 countries and 100 locations in the U.S. Prior to his role with PAE, Dignam spent 25 years with Lockheed Martin holding a variety of leadership and executive management positions, including CEO of the Lockheed Information Technology services company as well as President, Readiness and Stability Operations, $2B global logistics company. Mr. Dignam also serves as an Affiliate Partner for Lindsay Goldberg, a premier private equity firm. Mr. Dignam holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Scranton.
