HERNDON, Va., March 31, 2025 – Valiant announced today that is has been awarded a $73.3M contract by the U.S. Army to provide Operations Support Services for the Korea Battle Simulation Center (KBSC).
Peter Capwell, Valiant’s Chief Operating Officer, says “We are very excited to have an opportunity to deliver operations support to KBSC that delivers cost-effective combined, bilateral, and joint warfighting readiness training for Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, Eighth U.S. Army, INDOPACOM, U.S. Army Pacific, and U.S. Army Japan. Valiant’s experience working in the unique KBSC environment allows us to continue to deliver professional, critical training for U.S. and allied forces in the region.”
The KBSC operations support services are provided to the Combined Forces Command/U.S. Forces Korea, U.S. Army Pacific, U.S. Army Japan, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, and international partners. The contract supports collective and leader battle staff training for joint/combined exercises from the battalion through theater level. In the 5-year contract, Valiant provides functional, technical, and operational services—including planning, coordinating, and executing computer-assisted exercises. Valiant’s KBSC team is experienced in warfighting doctrine, training methodologies, and data analysis while being proficient in model, model federation, and networks—all needed to support the dynamic KBSC mission.
