Dan has had a long history at Valiant, including serving as the Vice President of Critical Mission Solutions and most recently in rejoining the firm as Valiant’s Chief Operating Officer. Throughout his career at Valiant, Dan has driven operational excellence and supported mission-critical programs worldwide. Before rejoining Valiant, Daniel, as Chief Operating Officer of Acuity International, led business transformation, strategy development, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management. In that role, he supported a diverse customer base across the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as a broad portfolio of federal agencies, state governments, and commercial entities, delivering healthcare services, engineering and construction support, base operations, security services, and environmental programs. “Dan is a proven leader with deep operational experience and a relentless focus on mission success,” said Mike Devoto, Board member of Valiant Integrated Services. A military veteran, Mr. Simms brings a mission-first leadership approach grounded in service and accountability. HCATS Web Portal The Human Capital and Training Solutions Contract KEY SERVICE AREAS TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES: Training services covers the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training. It includes: training program management support, technical skills and knowledge training/learning, career development and management, leadership/management/ supervisory training and development, general skills and knowledge training development, and coaching developed and/or delivered to any Federal employee to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities related to a specific title, series and/or function on any subject matter, or general knowledge, skills and abilities to enable an agency to carry out its mission. Development services are services provided to any Federal employee to develop and/or enhance their general, mission-specific, management and/or leadership knowledge, skills, and abilities. HCATS CONTRACT The Human Capital and Training Solutions Contract (HCaTS) is a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides the government with customized workforce and organizational solutions. Valiant Awarded $118.5M Contract to Provide Simulator and Academic Instructor Pilots to Pacific Air Forces 11 Jan 2024 HERNDON, Va., Jan. 11, 2024 – Valiant announced today that it has been awarded a $118.5M contract by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to provide Simulator and Academic Instructor Pilots (SIM-IPs) to the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), reaffirming Valiant’s commitment to enhancing USAF mission-readiness. Under the contract, Valiant will deploy skilled Contract Instructor Pilots (CIPs) to develop mission-ready aircrews at six PACAF locations: Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan; Misawa Air Base, Japan; Kunsan Air Base, South Korea; Osan Air Base, South Korea; Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson, Alaska; and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. These CIPs will provide instruction on various aircraft platforms, including the F-15C, E-3 AWACS, F-16, A-10C, and F-22A. As a leading training support services provider, Valiant will play a vital role in live-fly missions by facilitating full-spectrum Distributed Mission Operations (DMOs) and Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) capabilities, integrated with all fighter assets. Valiant’s CIPs will collaborate closely with their Air Force counterparts to develop scenarios, provide academic support, ensure security, and manage scheduling functions that optimize operational effectiveness and combat capability.
