Chief Operating Officer
Daniel Simms serves as Chief Operating Officer of Valiant, where he oversees Valiant’s delivery of training, readiness, language support, advanced logistics, sustainment, intelligence, construction, and critical facility support services.
Before joining Valiant, Daniel held several senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer, and various Vice President roles in Operations, Critical Mission Solutions, and Business Development. He managed program portfolios that provided U.S. Defense and government agencies with intelligence support, threat reduction, risk management, logistics, construction, language, and training across 30+ countries. His work supported a variety of organizations, such as the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, the United Nations, and other partner nations.
His expertise includes revenue growth, workforce planning, performance improvement, business transformation, cross-cultural communications, cross-functional teams, business development, and thought leadership.
Daniel is a certified Project Management Professional and a military veteran. He received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, and his undergraduate in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He has additional professional industry studies from George Mason University.
