  • Valiant Integrated Services Awarded $555M IDIQ Contract to Support Army National Guard

    XCTC is Valiant’s second contract with the Army National Guard following a three-year award of the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) contract in 2018. Valiant Integrated Services Awarded $555M IDIQ Contract to Support Army National Guard 18 May 2021 Herndon, VA – May 18, 2021 - Valiant Integrated Services, a leading government services provider, announced today that it has been awarded a $555 million single-award IDIQ to provide military readiness training to the Army National Guard (ARNG) under its eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) program. “Valiant is pleased to have the opportunity to fill this critical role in supporting the Army National Guard’s military readiness training,” said Valiant CEO Dan Corbett. “Training is one of Valiant’s core service offerings, and this award reflects what we have built as an organization – a fully unified company that provides best-in-class Live, Virtual, and Constructive training solutions to support mission-critical success through innovation and teamwork. We thank the Army National Guard for this vote of confidence.” XCTC is a fully instrumented, highly realistic immersive training environment that enables brigade combat teams (BCTs) to meet specific Army training requirements in the sustainable readiness model. The ARNG comprises approximately 336,000 soldiers and consists of combat, combat support, and combat service support units from company to division levels. There are 27 BCTs in the ARNG, all of which train using XCTC. The XCTC training event is a critical step for ARNG BCTs as they build readiness and prepare for Army Combat Training Center (CTC) rotations, deployments, and other defense requirements. Rotations are typically conducted through 21-day live training exercises with a constructive wrap held at ARNG sites across the country. These capstone training events focus on platoon live fire and maneuver. XCTC is Valiant’s second contract with the Army National Guard following a three-year award of the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) contract in 2018. Under MCTSP, Valiant has delivered individual and collective Mission Command training to battalions, brigades, and divisions in Live, Virtual, and Constructive environments to National Guard soldiers across all 54 States, Territories, and the District of Columbia.     Vice President and General Manager of Global Training & Readiness < Back DAVID DETZ Vice President and General Manager of Global Training & Readiness David (Dave) Detz is the Vice President and General Manager of Valiant’s Global Training & Readiness (GT&R) business line. Since joining Valiant in 2019, Dave has held positions of increasing responsibility from Program Manager to Senior Program Director to his current role as Vice President. As the Vice President of GT&R, Dave is responsible for more than 40 programs supporting the United States Department of Defense, its allied partners, and other international organizations in service areas including ground and aviation training, simulation, and readiness; advanced logistics and sustainment; Intelligence and analysis support; defense threat reduction; and contingency and stability operations. Dave has successfully led the Army’s Joint Readiness and Training Center (JRTC) Mission Support Contract for the past 14 years. Under his leadership, JRTC is recognized by the U.S. Army leadership as a world-class training program. Prior to his work at JRTC, Dave served 23 years in the United States Army. He held multiple leadership positions including Battalion Commander, Executive Officer, Operations Officer, and Platoon Leader. Dave holds a Master of Science degree in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University and an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Edinboro University. In addition, his professional credentials include Certified Program Manager Professional, Certified Safety Professional, and a Six Sigma Green Belt. Dave and his wife April reside in Louisiana and have two children and four grandchildren.

Valiant Awarded $49.9M Contract to Continue Supporting the U.S. Marine Corps with Training and Readiness Services Across the Globe 22 Sept 2022 HERNDON, Va., Sept. 22, 2022 – Valiant Integrated Services announced today it has been awarded a three-year, $49.9M contract by the U.S. Marine Corps to continue executing advanced training and readiness services on the Trackless Mobile Infantry Targets (TMIT) task order under the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Training Support Services (MTSS) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ). This task order award, the third to Valiant under the current IDIQ, further expands Valiant’s support of Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) and Training and Education Command (TECOM). In partnership with Marathon Targets, a key focus of Valiant’s offerings will entail the use of semi-autonomous, human-type, TMITs capable of moving on a training range within established geographic boundaries to ensure safety, and to present shooters with realistic, moving threats on live-fire ranges and training areas.
